However, during this time of the year, while Merry and Bright and full of excitement, it’s important for parents to be on the lookout for toy recalls or other safety alerts. During this past year alone, we’ve seen everything from toy rattles to sweaters and dressers being recalled for children. And now, a new recall has been announced by Woolino for a “children’s pajama line due to a violation of the federal flammability standards.”

During this past year alone, we’ve seen everything from toy rattles to sweaters and dressers being recalled for children. And now, a new recall has been announced by Woolino for a “children’s pajama line due to a violation of the federal flammability standards.”
So what is the risk, exactly? Well, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), because the pajamas “fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear,” they pose “a risk of burn injuries to children.”
But how can parents tell if they have one of the recalled products? For starters, the recalled pajamas, which are currently sold nationwide at Pony and Caro Bambino, Amazon.com Zulily.com, and Woolino.com, are constructed of 100 percent merino wool. According to the recall notice, they’re “one-piece, long-sleeve, footed pajamas…sold in blue, gray, lilac or lilac gray.” Though the pajamas are no longer available due to the recall, parents should be aware that the recalled product was sold between May 2015 and November 2017. Anyone who has these pajamas in their home should stop using them and “contact Woolino for a full refund.”
