Jogging strollers are popular among parents committed to living a healthy lifestyle, even if it means having to take their little one along for the ride. The unique strollers allow parents to jog or power walk with ease, so it’s no surprise that they have increased in popularity over recent years. However, because more households now own a jogging stroller of some type, it’s a big deal when a recall pops up, such as the one recently issued for “Delta Children’s J is for Jeep brand cross-country all-terrain strollers.”
More than 28,000 of these popular jogging strollers have been recalled “for potential fall hazards.” So far, one child has fallen “from the stroller and had to receive treatment for cuts and bruises,” and there have been “four reports of the bracket on the stroller leg breaking.”
So how can parents tell if they have one of these recalled strollers? For starters, they were sold nationwide in Walmart and Target stores. Additionally, the strollers “have two wheels in the back and one smaller wheel in the front,” and “J is for Jeep is printed on the side of the stroller sun canopy and a star with a circle around it logo is printed on the front bottom of the seat and on the side of the stroller,” according to the recall notice.
