TOLEDO, OH – Kathryn Young, a zealous advocate for community development, has graduated from the Leadership Toledo program, where she gained invaluable insights and skills that will enhance her ability to lead and support various community initiatives.
This 10-month experiential program provides individuals with the opportunity to become more confident leaders, connect with the community on a deeper level, grow stronger in self-awareness, and serve in ways that are meaningful to them.
“Leadership Toledo is such a distinguished program, and I was very fortunate to be a participant in the unique opportunities it provided,” said Kathryn. “Through the program, I gained leadership skills and made connections that I will carry with me throughout my career.”

Kathryn is an Associate in Shumaker’s Corporate, Tax and Transactions Service Line, where she guides clients through a wide variety of business transactions and tax planning processes. She also has extensive experience researching, drafting, and reviewing patent, trademark, and copyright applications.
