Let’s take a moment to send some love and good wishes to the women and families affected by Bayer’s Essure “permanent” birth control today.
As many of us gather with family and friends today to celebrate a day of giving thanks for the good things in our lives, it’s important that we remember those who are facing difficult times. I ask today that we all take a few moments to send good thoughts to those who are having an Essure Thanksgiving.
I have it easy today. Very shortly, I’ll be driving to visit family for a tremendous meal. No major cooking, just good food and loved ones. There are brave and beautiful E-sisters who would love to be able to do what I’m doing today, but travel is too painful. Forget all the cooking, some of these wonderful women won’t even feel well enough to take a car ride. To you, we send love.
There are those E-sisters who won’t even be home for Thanksgiving. They (and their families) are spending the day in the hospital ER, facing complications from Essure. Some may even be facing surgery today. To you, we send love.
We remember our Essure families today, too. The husbands, boyfriends, partners, parents and children who must watch their loved ones suffer as the rest of us celebrate. You are not forgotten. To you, we send love.
We also send love to those who listen, believe and act to put an end to Bayer’s Essure. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Dr. Julio Novoa, Erin Brockovich and countless others. Thank you for caring. Together we will get this evil product off the market.
All my love, thoughts, and prayers to all those affected by Essure. I hope that, despite everything you’re facing, you find some joy today. You deserve it more than anyone I know.
