With 38 years of distinguished professional experience in the field of education, including an extensive 26-year tenure as an administrator, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. Throughout my career, I have served in various capacities, ranging from a high school science teacher to roles such as middle school science teacher, middle school assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, and superintendent of schools. My proficiency spans across the entire spectrum of education, encompassing critical areas such as the supervision and oversight of school facilities, personnel management (including hiring, supervision, and training of school employees and district administrators), student supervision and education, curriculum development, student safety, bullying prevention, equitable discipline, and meticulous compliance with state and federal laws. Notably, I am well-versed in statutes including state mandatory reporting laws, Title IX, Title VI, Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), among others. Moreover, my expertise extends beyond traditional educational settings, as I am qualified to assess issues related to various child and youth-oriented organizations, including daycares, preschools, summer camps, recreational programs, private schools, and religious schools.
