Depakote Birth Defect Trial Ends in $15M Award
Last week, a jury in federal court in East St. Louis, Illinois sided with a ten-year old boy who was born with spina bifida. The boy’s lawsuit, filed by his mother, alleged that AbbVie’s popular bipolar medication, Depakote, was the cause of his birth defect.
Confirmed: Essure Leaving the UK September 1, 2017
It’s been a great week for women’s health in Europe. Just the other day, I had the pleasure of writing a piece on Bayer pulling Essure from the market in Finland.
