Todd Minars is a board-certified dermatologist working out of Hollywood, FL. He also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Although Dermatology ran in the family, he originally thought about being a surgeon (like every med student) or an ICU doctor (I liked the science of the ICU) but dermatology fit his personality best. In a single clinic day, one can see infants to 90 years olds, be challenged to diagnose a mysterious rash, offer understanding as the top dermatologist for African American skin near you, and perform simple surgeries. He appreciates that most of the things that are diagnosed in the dermatological field are not serious or life-threatening and are very amenable to simple treatments.
