Parents beware. Earlier this week Lidl US Trading of Arlington, Va. Recalled an estimated 300 Playtive Junior Wooden Grasping Toys over concerns the wooden wheels may “detach and release small parts, posing a choking hazard.” The specific product included in the recall is the Playtive Junior Wooden Grasping Toy. It’s carved in the shape of an elephant and has “four blue wheels on the bottom.”

To better identify whether you have one of the recalled toys in your home, check the model number underneath the toy. According to the recall notice, the model number on the affected products is HG04414.

The recalled toys were manufactured in China and sold in Lidl stores throughout Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey between March 2019 and May 2019. They retailed for about $4.

Fortunately, no injuries or illnesses have been reported. If you have the affected toys, though, you should stop using them immediately and return them to a Lidl store for a refund. If you have additional questions or concerns about the recall, contact Lidl at (844) 747-5435 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (ET) or online at www.lidl.com.
